Sonoe Sugawara is the owner of the antique/vintage KIMONO shop.
KIMONOs she is dealing is made in Japan, majority of them are from 1900's to 1930's Japanese Art Deco to Pre-war time, up to post war period.
Sugawara san says she wants more and more people to enjoy the fashion of KIMONO.
I'm pretty sure that the fashion of Londoners in Spitalfields Market will open up a new recognition of KIMONO for young Japanese people, who tend to have a complex that "traditional" costume is hard to approach.
If you see the picture above, the black KIMONO which Mt Fuji is printed, is actually a traditional full-dress uniform for 5-year-old boy in Japan.
